Cozad, Nebraska Convenience Store Homicide Update - January 24, 2002:
We now believe with the new enhanced photographs that the subject is possibly older than originally believed. We think he is probably late twenties to mid thirties, but would now be 3 to 4 years older than at the
time of the murder.
We still believe the Pontiac Grand Am 2-door to be an early 90's model, (1992-95) possibly an SE model but has after market wheels or hubcaps. The Pontiac also is believed to originate from a state with no front
plates. The license plate on back may be an In-Transit or temporary plate.
The jacket the suspect was wearing was originally believed to be an olive drab army style coat, but is now thought to have been a brown leather jacket with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt underneath. Any assistance
in this matter can be referred to Cheri Saunders, or the Dawson County Sheriff's Office at 308-324-3011.
